0reg.com only charges 12.95 per year for registration
- Is there a difference between registering a domain name with Network
Solutions or with 0reg.com?
There is no difference in the name registered through Network Solutions or
0reg.com accept for the exceptional management tools we have for you to
use to manage your domain and services.
- How long does it take to register a name?
Its instant as soon as you get through the registration order it is
complete. There is no waiting process with 0reg.com. As soon
as you see the registration is successful, its yours.
- Is 0reg.com a ICANN accredited registrar?
No, we are not an ICANN accredited registrar but have a partnership
itsyourdomain.com to offer these services at a discount over their typical
registration cost of 14.95. Our registration process is linked
directly to their systems to instantaneously register your name.
- Who owns the domain I register?
You do with a few exceptions. In rare certain instances such as a
copyright infringement there could be a dispute against the name you
register.
- Can I transfer my registration from my current registrar to 0reg.com?
Yes just link to the Transfer My Domain link.
- After I register my domain name who can host it?
Any hosting company offering hosting of TDL domains should be able to host
your name. However since we have are part of the n3i network you
nameservers have already been pointed to our Hosting Company servers
located at Hostfinity.com. Just go to
http://hostfinity.com and you can
order hosting services. You are also free to use any other company
and can switch your nameserver to point to the company of your choice with
the domain manager. We don't force you to stay with our hosting
solution.
- Who should register a domain name?
All businesses, groups, organizing should protect their groups name by
registering a domain name. All businesses should have a website to
let their clients know basic information about their business with a
minimum contact information page and email address.
- How long is the registration good for?
You choose how long to register it for and can renew it at the end of the
registration period.
